Optimized Sensor Locations for Flood Risk Monitoring in Southeast Texas Based on Risk Equity Framework

This GeoJSON dataset contains the optimized locations for additional flood sensors in Southeast Texas. These locations were selected using a multi-objective risk framework that balances three components: flood hazard, population exposure, and socio-economic vulnerability. The optimization process ensures proportional representation across these dimensions and supports more equitable and effective flood monitoring infrastructure.

Each feature includes:

Coordinates of proposed sensor placement

Catchment ID

Optimization priority (hazard, exposure, vulnerability, or balanced)

This dataset supports regional planning, risk mitigation, and infrastructure design decisions.
