USGS high-water marks and post-flood measurements, July 2025 Texas Hill Country flood

Summary. USGS Short-Term Network flood-event data for the July 2025 Hill Country flood: surveyed high-water marks, sensor deployments and indirect peak-discharge measurements along the Guadalupe River.

Scenarify role. Measured water levels for calibration at Spatial Inspections; peak discharge for the Hunt inflow boundary where the gauge failed.

Access. USGS Flood Event Viewer (interactive, CSV/shapefile export); no auth. The legacy STNServices/Events.json endpoint now returns the FEV single-page app, so pick the event in the viewer and export from there.

Format and CRS. CSV / shapefile points with elevation (NAVD88 ft), HWM type and quality; WGS84.

Coverage. Kerr, Kendall and neighbouring counties; marks surveyed July-August 2025.

Provenance and caveats. Some marks are provisional. The Kerr County hydrologic assessment (Waterway Engineering, 2025-07-24) includes HWM model comparisons that can cross-check these points.
